Zippy’s is giving you an extra hour every day of the weekend to enjoy our burgers! Starting on March 1, 2013, we will be staying open until 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and closing at 8:00 p.m. on Sundays.

We’ll be rocking out at Zippy’s during this month’s White Center Artwalk. On Saturday, October 20th at 9:00pm, we invite you to grab a burger and bang your head to the glorious sounds of Call for the Priest. Seattle’s very own Judas Priest tribute band, featuring members of Skelator and Toe Tag, is not to be missed. Plus, it’s all ages — and FREE!

October makes us think of Oktoberfest… and Oktoberfest makes us think of beer, brauts and polka music.

We’ll spare you the polka music, but think you should definitely make time in your October to stop in for our Special Burger of the Month: The Spoiled Braut.

The Spoiled Braut takes one delicious fresh ground, charbroiled patty, adds smoked German sausage to it, and then slathers the whole thing in Pippa’s sweet and spicy mustard, a dollop of stone ground mustard, sauerkraut, and grilled onions. It’s Oktoberfest on a bun!

For the true experience, wash it down with a Leavenworth Oktoberfest Ale, available now for $5 in our beer fridge.

We’ve got proof that our burgers are some of the best in Seattle — but thanks to Urbanspoon, we now know that they’re some of the best in the nation!

Today, we got word that Zippy’s was named one of America’s 100 Most Popular Cheap Eats. Out of Urbanspoon’s database of over one million restaurants, Zippy’s came out on top for getting positive reviews, other press, and diner votes.

To celebrate the arrival of summer weather, we’re rolling out the Rae of Sunshine — August’s Special Burger. The Rae’s tasty charbroiled patty is topped with house-made balsamic ketchup, fresh buffalo mozzarella, basil, tomato, lettuce, and garlic mayo. And, served on a cornmeal dusted bun.
